Electrohydraulic upper drive with 4-cylinder technology: The electrohydraulic 4-cylinder upper drive, equipped with proportional valves, ensures precise synchronized movement of the cylinders and minimizes deflection of the pressing beam, which is numerically compensated. This technology allows for a construction that offers wide bending flexibility.
2-axis backgauge: High-precision rack-and-pinion drive for the X and R axes. The freely programmable, steplessly adjustable backgauge depth and height ensure high accuracy. The backgauge fingers can be effortlessly and safely shifted in the Z direction in front of the bending line.
Hydraulic lower tool clamping: The V-dies are placed on a special plate. Clamping is ensured by a hydraulic clamping bar and a hardened tension bar. Lateral movement is programmable.
Manual crowning: Manually adjustable crowning system with tensioning wedges.
Programmable lower tool shift: The lower tool can be shifted in the X direction to two different positions. This enables special applications.
Modern block hydraulics with cylinders and regulator valves: Modern block hydraulics ensure repeat accuracy. The automatically switching dual pump provides rapid return stroke. The pressing force is immediately available.
Measuring system: Centrally adjusted glass scales and temperature compensation.
TRUMPF TASC 6000 control: The TRUMPF controller runs on Windows XP, with 2.8 GHz processor, 2 redundant hard drives, 15” touchscreen, USB interface for printer connection, memory key, and 2GB RAM, etc. It features intuitive program and tool management, both conversational numerical and graphical programming directly at the control unit.
Energy-efficient on-demand drive: The main drive of the press brake is controlled by a frequency inverter and operates only when required. This reduces noise and energy consumption during standby mode. During bending, the drive delivers output, speed-controlled, to match current demand.
4-axis backgauge system, Z1/Z2 axis: Asymmetric CNC-controlled finger positioning for multiple bending stations.
Additional retractable backgauge finger: Pre-mounted manual finger for the 4-axis backgauge system.
Hydraulic upper tool clamping: Self-centering hydraulic upper tool clamping. Individual tool segments can be changed with exceptional ease and speed.
CNC crowning: Programmable via the controller; ideal for frequent program repeats and large bending lengths.
BendGuard safety device (Block laser): Maximum permitted Y-axis speed in foot mode is 220 mm/s.
Material handling – Bending follower arms: Basic version with one arm, electromechanical drive with easy programming, to assist with large or heavy workpieces and to prevent rebending of thin sheets.
