BRIQUETTING PRESS
The press is designed for compressing secondary raw materials into briquettes (briquette shape: rectangular).

The press consists of:
Electrical system – controls the hydraulic system of the press. There are four electric motors: first (30 kW) for driving the main hydraulic pumps, second (1.1 kW) for the cooling hydraulic pump, third (0.55 kW) for driving the fan of the oil cooling system, and fourth (1.5 kW) for driving the sawdust feed auger. Operation of the motors and solenoid valves is managed by a microprocessor with expansion modules, via contactors and intermediate semiconductor relays. An LCD screen with buttons is installed for visualization and parameter adjustment.
Hydraulic system – with the help of pumps, high- and low-pressure solenoid hydraulic valves, and hoses, controls the operation of the hydraulic cylinders. There are three hydraulic cylinders: the first (main) for pressing sawdust, the second (vertical) for preliminary compaction of sawdust, and the third (mould) for transferring the briquette form. Also equipped with an oil cooling system with pump and air cooler. Oil filtration is provided by the main high-capacity filter, the cooling system filter, and a fine filtration filter.
The supply of raw material into the press is performed via an integrated feed hopper. The material in the hopper is mixed intermittently to prevent bridging. The mixer movement is driven by a chain transmission from the auger gearmotor. The auger cyclically feeds the raw material into the vertical cylinder column shaft. The hopper is equipped with two level sensors (lower and upper). When the hopper is enlarged, the level sensors can be repositioned as required.
Control – can be operated in two modes: manual and automatic. All control equipment is installed in the electrical cabinet. Automatic control mode is intended for normal press operation without operator intervention. Manual mode is used for press setup, troubleshooting, or returning cylinders to their initial positions in case of emergency. Operation is assisted by a display located on the electrical cabinet door, which allows the user to view and change parameters, as well as monitor the press operating status and errors.
