The VARIOVAC Optimus tray sealer is a machine designed for the production and separation of individual tray packages, in which the product is packaged under pressure, vacuum, or in a modified atmosphere. With the Variovac sealer, only products that do not exceed the edge of the tray can be packaged.

APET trays are formed from a film roll using adjustable preheating, vacuum, and top air pressure.
The expiration date can be set in the forming tool.
Before sealing the top film, the product is vacuumed. The machine is also equipped for gas flushing (modified atmosphere packaging).
Top film sealing is cooled by a water chiller.
Tray cutting is accomplished by transverse and longitudinal cuts.
The finished product exits the machine on a conveyor belt.
Edge film offcuts are wound onto winding reels, and center trimmings are extracted via piping into a container.

Current tray format: 8.6cm x 7.6cm x 3.2cm – fill volume 135 – 150ml.
Tray format can be changed up to 300ml.

Option to purchase with or without a twin-head stainless steel filler, which operates as follows:
- Using a dual-head pneumatically synchronized filler with adjustable dosing. The filler is equipped with a pneumatic transfer device from the mobile laska trolley to the upper storage tank.
