This is a drill bit sharpening machine suitable for bits ranging from 8 to 30 mm, with an adjustable point angle from 90° to 140°.

Sharpening a drill bit is accomplished in three steps: first, the drill bit is securely clamped in a fixture, followed by sharpening and point thinning. Ready in less than a minute!

Prior to clamping the drill bit, its diameter is set using a rotary knob on the machine. The drill bit, together with the appropriate collet, is positioned in the fixture up to the stop in the machine’s left holder and clamped securely.

Sharpening the cutting edges and thinning the point is straightforward: switch on the machine, insert the fixture with the bit into the right holder, and gently rotate from stop to stop—the first cutting edge is now sharpened. Then, rotate the fixture 180° to sharpen the second edge.

Point thinning is performed the same way, using the top holder. That's it. Simply switch off the machine and unclamp the drill bit.

A clever design combines an eccentric mechanism with a special grinding wheel so there is no need to worry about the cutting edge shape or relief angle. Both cutting edges are produced with the exact same setting, ensuring optimal cutting symmetry. Additionally, the point angle can be freely selected between 90° and 140° before sharpening.

The grinding wheel's service life is over 3,000 applications. In addition to the standard CBN grinding wheel for HSS tools, we also offer a diamond grinding wheel for carbide drills. The grinding wheel can be swapped in seconds with minimal effort.

The compact design and convenient carrying handle allow for easy mobile use. Since nearly all system accessories—such as collets, fixtures, or Allen keys—are integrated into the machine, everything needed is always at hand.
