The machine is, of course, fully functional. The Weiler has been completely dismantled and newly painted in light grey. All cross slides move very smoothly and evenly. The Weiler also runs smoothly at high spindle speeds. This newer generation of Weiler lathes is extremely user-friendly and capable of producing ground-like surface finishes.
