"Measurements using X-ray computed tomography for production and metrology labs
The transmission tube—in a monoblock design for the first time—enables a small focal spot even at high tube power, allowing for fast measurements with high resolution. The monoblock design of tube, generator, and vacuum creation is realized in an open-architecture form for the first time. This enables both extended maintenance intervals and, theoretically, unlimited service life. Typical applications include 3D measurement of, for example, connectors, plastic housings and covers, 3D-printed components, packaging, PET bottles, and preforms. The TomoScope® XS (utility model) can also be used for tool correction. Measurements of the workpiece make it possible to check the functionality and wear of the tools. For example, workpieces are inspected for indications of tool breakage and burr formation."
