Wash System

The core of the PT Series: Inside the machine, two S-shaped wash arms operate. Optimized water flow and special nozzle geometry ensure full coverage for outstanding washing results, with a rinse water consumption starting from just 2.2 liters per cycle. Every detail is built for quality: robust stainless steel axles guarantee optimal rotation and contribute to the high reliability of the PT-XL.

Variable Wash Pressure Adjustment

Every Winterhalter PT-XL comes standard with VarioPower, a variable water pressure regulator: it adjusts the wash pressure to match the items being washed and their level of soiling. Fine glasses and delicate bowls are washed with lower, and robust dishes with higher water pressure. This reliably removes stubborn dirt, gently treats delicate items, and keeps them securely in place.

Wastewater Heat Recovery

A key benefit of the PT Series: the EnergyLight wastewater heat recovery system comes as standard. The heat exchanger uses the energy from the waste water to preheat the incoming cold water. The advantages: the machine heats up faster between cycles, conserves resources, and saves up to 10% in energy costs.

Exhaust Air Heat Recovery

The Winterhalter PT-XL Energy Plus also includes exhaust air heat recovery. In addition to the standard wastewater heat recovery, an exhaust air heat exchanger is used. It utilizes the energy from the warm steam inside the machine to preheat the cold inlet water. As a result, hardly any moist warm steam escapes into the room when the machine is opened. Up to 15% energy savings per wash cycle.
