Differences between the standard horizontal sawmill bench and the veneer-specific saw bench: this sawmill is equipped with the following tailored features:

- Reinforced guarding on the head to prevent sawdust from entering between the flywheel and the blade
- Additional protective shields due to higher power and volume of sawdust extraction
- Double-cut blade
- Graphite blade guides (standard model uses Bakelite)
- Special system for changing graphite blade guides
- Special chassis and sensor protection, Plexiglas in the head cover (differently designed cover compared to standard band saw)
- Additional sensors for blade deflection
- Full-length pneumatic jet cleaning for the saw bed
