Standard features
The F 45 is equipped with a parallelogram protective hood with two covers for 90° and mitre cuts. The height is infinitely adjustable and self-locking. The large pressure roller at the infeed automatically adjusts the protective hood to the workpiece thickness. The maximum saw blade diameter is 450 mm, providing a maximum blade projection of 154 mm.

Double roller carriage with 3200 mm carriage length
The Altendorf double roller carriage can be locked steplessly in any position. The double rollers, made from hardened steel, ensure precise guidance of the upper carriage in connection with the lower carriage on hard-chromed round guide bars. The carriage construction is a highly torsion- and shape-resistant multi-chamber system. The table surface is anodized. A hard-chromed round bar is used for mounting the cross slide and as an interface for various accessories.

This mitre fence, patented by Altendorf, with integrated length compensation, enables precise cutting of 90° angles and mitres in one operation. The swing angle can be steplessly adjusted by 49° in both front and rear stop positions and is displayed on a scale. Simply slide the stop rail to the desired angle on the scale, then set the required length at the end stop flap.
