APV

Water degassing (de-aeration) system for removing oxygen from drinking water, predominantly built in 1995. The system operates using a two-stage cold degassing process by means of CO₂ stripping in a counterflow setup and comprises the following components:
- 2 serially connected degassing vessels
- Vacuum pump with separator
- 7,000 L pressurized tank (Gross, 2018) for storing degassed water at up to 4 bar overpressure
- Centrifugal pumps
- CO₂ dosing via needle valve
- Pipe panel, various pipelines, valves, fittings, measuring and control technology
- Control cabinet with Simatic S5 control
