Chemtech International Ltd. SHORTENING PROCESSING 18,6 t/h

A complete margarine, confectionery fat, and shortening production line for sale, including an additional line for powdered milk and an automatic CIP (Clean-In-Place) washing system.

The setup incorporates equipment from the following manufacturers: CHEMTECH, ALFA LAVAL, TMCI Padovan, O/K International, FAVEO, Bortolinkemo, Atlanta, Cidiesse.
Location: Chornomorsk. Both lines were installed in 2012, produced just one batch, and were then shut down. The equipment requires dismantling. More details and a presentation are available upon request.

Sale terms: contract, wire transfer, dismantling and shipping subject to further agreement.

Description of the margarine production lines

Line A configuration:
• Four 5 m³ tanks for emulsion preparation, each equipped with agitators and pumps, installed on load cells;
• Four 50 L tanks for flavoring and coloring agents, with peristaltic pumps;
• Main three-section plate-type heat exchanger/pasteurizer;
• Main piston pump;

• First crystallizer block (C1+C2);
• Second crystallizer block (C3+C4);
• Processing module with two pin rotors;
• Processing module with two pin rotors.
Optionally (with connectivity), the line can be outfitted with a retention tube and a Kempak forming machine for margarine destined for puff pastry. Line output: industrial margarines – 5 t/h, puff pastry margarine – 1 t/h.

Line B configuration:
• Two 5 m³ tanks for emulsion preparation with agitators and pumps, installed on load cells;
• One 50 L tank for flavoring and coloring agent with a peristaltic pump;
• Plate-type safety heat exchanger;
• Main piston pump;
• First crystallizer block (C1+C2);
• Second crystallizer block (C3+C4);
• Processing block with two pin rotors;
• Processing block with two pin rotors. Line output: industrial margarines and shortenings – 5 t/h.

Two parallel lines for carton forming and margarine filling include:
• Carton forming unit;
• Carton liner unit (for PE film);
• Margarine filling station into cartons;
• Carton sealing unit;
• Carton printer.

CIP washing for process lines and equipment is provided by three dedicated tanks for cleaning solution and rinse water preparation, complete with pump.

All key processes—product manufacturing, packaging, filling, casing, and transporting cartons—are highly automated. Automation: PLC with SCADA interface.

For development of new fat-based products, CHEMTECH International Ltd. has supplied a pilot margarine plant with output of 120 kg/h.

Function:
– Manufacturing and packaging of margarine, confectionery, culinary and bakery fats, as well as for dairy industry, with capacity of 12.4 t/h, or manufacturing/packaging puff pastry margarine at 4.5 t/h.
– Manufacturing and packaging of confectionery and bakery fats, and dairy analogs, with capacity of 18.6 t/h, or production of fats for dairy products / cocoa butter substitutes with capacity of 12.4 t/h.

Located in Chornomorsk. Both lines installed in 2012, single batch produced, and then shutdown. Equipment requires dismantling. Full details and presentation available on request.
