The COLUMBUS Pioneer is a professional vacuum and membrane press designed for applications such as vacuum laminating, veneering, coating, and laminating flat or curved workpieces. Thanks to its modular design, the machine can be adapted to different requirements and is available in various sizes and configurations.

Models/Modular System:

The COLUMBUS Pioneer is designed as a modular system and available in the following versions: BASIC (classic vacuum pressing such as veneering, coating, and form pressing), HEAT (heating and thermoforming of plastics and solid surface materials), and VERTICAL (processing taller workpieces with convenient loading and unloading through vertical opening). These modules can be combined as needed for your application or upgraded later on.

COLUMBUS machines are built for long-term use and manufactured using high-quality industrial components. The robust construction, proven components from renowned manufacturers, and precise workmanship ensure a long service life and reliable operation. COLUMBUS grants a lifetime warranty on the machine frame (excluding wear parts).

Each COLUMBUS Pioneer is integrated into the COLUMBUS 360° System, which includes the digital Master Manual with comprehensive practical knowledge on vacuum technology as well as Master GPT – an artificial intelligence for all questions regarding the machine, applications, materials, and optimal process parameters. The system assists users in setup, operation, and process optimization, and is delivered with a tablet for immediate use.
