The CORMAK H - 300SA automatic column-type band saw is a high-performance machine designed for automatic-cycle cutting of bars, pipes, and profiles made from steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. Its robust body and sturdy saw frame, combined with a column construction, deliver exceptional rigidity and outstanding stability during the cutting of even the most difficult-to-machine metals. The saw is equipped with a PLC controller and an easy-to-use touchscreen interface.

Manual mode allows all operations to be performed directly from the machine console.

In automatic mode, once activated, the entire cutting cycle—including clamping the workpiece in the vise, advancing it to a preset length against the cutting blade, lowering and raising the saw frame to the desired position after finishing the cut—runs without operator intervention.

Cutting parameters such as the number of pieces, cut dimensions, blade speed, and descent rate of the saw frame are all set via the control panel. The machine automatically stops when a cut series is completed, the blade breaks, or any other fault is detected by the saw's control system.

The band drive, powered by an inverter-controlled motor, ensures smooth, wide-range speed adjustment. In the event of a blade breakage, the machine halts automatically. Precision blade guidance is provided by guides consisting of roller bearings and carbide inserts. The movable blade guide head adjusts according to the dimensions of the material, enhancing blade stability. Maximum cutting parameters and extended blade life are supported by a coolant system and a cleaning brush.

Hydraulically forced descent of the frame is adjustable over a wide range via a precision flow valve. The rapid advance system helps reduce the cutting time for each element.

A hydraulic material feed system ensures a fully automatic machine cycle. The controller equipped with an LCD screen allows saw programming, end-of-material indication, error messaging, and displays the number of completed cuts after a set period. The maximum material feed per stroke is 500 mm, with an accuracy of +/- 0.2 mm per stroke.
