CNC-controlled DRILLING, GROOVING, MILLING on under 3.3 m² with high processing precision and zero setup time - that is the GANNOMAT ProTec.

TECHNOLOGY:
The solid processing unit comes equipped with 13 vertical drilling spindles, 8 double horizontal drilling spindles (6Y & 2X), 1 grooving saw on the Y-axis, and 1 milling unit. This tool configuration means all common drills/tools can be held in a single setup and simply selected as needed.

This CNC machining center operates from below and can be run in both throughfeed and return-feed modes for operator convenience.

Steel support tables with air nozzles are the standard for horizontal drilling, and, in combination with solid workpiece clamps and the additional fourth axis on the drill head, enable very precise drilling. A contactless laser sensor detects the actual workpiece edges (top and bottom), allowing for automatic correction/adjustment of the drilling program.

ProTec delivers high-tech engineering and application, designed both as a CNC entry-level model for small to medium-sized businesses and as a secondary machine to a standard machining center to prevent production bottlenecks.

The GANNOMAT ProTec is designed for complete machining of cabinet sides, cabinet bottoms, rails, back panels, furniture doors, drawer sides, drawer fronts, countertops, frame parts, tables, sliding doors, templates, and more.

For example, dowel holes, line boring, holes for mounting plates, connectors, drawer runners, fittings, cabinet hangers, handle holes, lock bores, etc. can be drilled.

With the grooving unit, back panel grooves (also rebates) or grooves in drawer fronts can be produced.

The milling unit can perform diverse routing operations such as (examples): pockets of any kind, tambour door tracks, spot and cable apertures, handle recesses, plinth cut-outs, routing for shell handles and furniture locks, lock recesses, vent openings in doors, kitchen worktop joints, as well as partial pocket routings in kitchen worktops, furniture frame doors, and more.

Another application of the ProTec is milling of standard contours that are conventionally produced with templates and manual routers.

Material types such as particleboard, solid wood, multi-layer boards, lightweight panels, etc. can be efficiently processed with the ProTec.
