Deskripsi
The product to be dried is filled into the stainless steel product container and placed onto the base frame. The container is then raised by a pneumatic clamping device and pressed against the sealing ring of the filter housing, creating a closed fluidization chamber. An exhaust-side fan draws in external air, which is passed through the heating coil and through the perforated bottom of the product container into the product. Airflow is regulated via an exhaust air control damper. This ensures the product is fluidized throughout the filter housing and dried. The process can be monitored through an observation window.
The unit is also suitable for spray granulation and is equipped with a spray lance. The spray lance is inserted into the fluidization chamber from the front side of the product container at a 45° angle.
A filter insert above the product container prevents the dried product from being carried off with the airflow—any product that becomes highly fluidized is retained by the filter. A pneumatic shaking device cleans the filter. The filter insert with the retained product is shaken (with the airflow temporarily interrupted), allowing the product to fall back into the container.
After the drying process, the product container can be released from the filter housing and removed from the unit for further processing. Discharge is carried out using a Glatt EL 300 lifting and discharge device together with a Glatt GS sieving machine.
The suspension is prepared using a mobile weighing unit from Mettler Toledo, which is also offered as an accessory.
The unit is further equipped with a Glatt WIP (washing in place) system.
The machine was dismantled in fully operational condition and was regularly serviced. The unit is pressure-resistant up to 4 bar.
