Designed for hobbing cylindrical and worm gears, as well as all other regularly occurring generatable profiles and shapes on cylindrical workpieces.

Gleason’s large gear hobbing machines offer maximum productivity for roughing and finishing of cylindrical gears across various industries: wind turbines, industrial gearboxes, mining and shipbuilding, gear manufacturing, and many more.

The drive power range takes future tooling developments into account. Naturally, the hob head drive is backlash-free. These machines are especially well-suited for the use of state-of-the-art cutting tool materials, regardless of whether dry or wet machining is preferred.

The machine can be used for dry or wet machining and comes equipped with the corresponding chip conveyor for both processing methods.

The machine is fitted with an internal profile milling head as a motorized milling head.
