The columns and cylinder are made of tool steel SAE 1045 (equivalent to German standard C 45), hardened by induction and chrome-plated on the outside.

Control system functionality:

The linear encoder continuously provides the control system with the ram position. The traverse path, upper stop point and switching point (where the press transitions from rapid traverse to working speed), as well as the target end position, can be entered quickly and easily via the monitor control unit.

The working speed can be set in 1 mm increments from 0 to 10 mm/sec and in 10 mm increments from 10 to 155 mm/sec.

The control system monitors all safeguarded areas, the complete hydraulics, and the pump, and is housed in a separate control cabinet.

The press itself is operated via a control panel mounted on a swivel arm, minimizing walking distances.
