Vibration damping plates:

The machine rests on four specially manufactured vibration damping plates, each measuring 450x450x85 mm.

Oil tank with oil cooling:

The tank has a capacity of 1500 L. The oil is cooled by a dedicated pump, which activates at 40°C.

Oil filtering system:

Independent of the main and cooling pump, the press features a separate filtration circuit. The pump operates continuously, requiring only 1.5 kW.

Energy-saving function:

If the main pump is not required for a preset period, it enters energy-saving mode, consuming only about 2 kW/h, yet it is immediately fully operational when pressure is needed again.

Safety technology:

The safety technology is provided by Pilz, with the light curtains from the same manufacturer.

Parallelism monitoring:

Both cylinders are monitored for parallelism via Balluff displacement measuring systems and Sick wire-actuated encoders. The parallelism monitoring is activated at the start of the pressing process, and accuracy can be set in the control panel. The function is deactivated during empty runs. The position of the ram is measured on the left and right by two SICK cable-drum encoders. The control system then opens or closes the oil flow to the cylinders via special high-speed valves. The target parallelism accuracy is less than 1 mm across the entire width.
