Rental Equipment: Hosokawa Alpine A FC 200 Flakecrusher
The Alpine AFC Flake Crusher is used for the gentle size reduction of brittle, easy-to-break products. It allows for the production of granules with minimal fines content owing to its mild crushing action, enabling control over the maximum permissible particle size without generating undesirable fines. It is suitable for coarse grinding, producing materials between 0.5 and 10 mm depending on the product being processed. The AFC can be used for homogenising mixtures, granulating flakes, breaking up agglomerated or lumpy materials, increasing specific bulk density, and improving flowability of clods or lumps. It is fitted with a rotating grinding tool that can be used in combination with a screen selected according to the specific needs of your process. Changing these screens is fast, reducing equipment downtime. The unit is suitable for use in various industries such as pharmaceuticals, food processing, and more.
