THE COST-EFFECTIVE MANDREL BENDING MACHINE FOR TIGHT BENDING RADII

This bending system provides solutions for complex geometries with standard radii of 2xD for tube dimensions ranging from 20 to 90 mm. Depending on the material quality and wall thickness ratio, radii of 1.5xD can also be reliably achieved in serial production. With a tool height of 120 mm, there is ample capacity for special profiles as well.

The highly precise and powerful electric drive of the bending axis, along with the robust and rigid design of the mandrel support and bending arm, contribute to the desired bending results. The plug-in bending tools enable quick changeovers to other tube sizes. The clamping force for tube fixation is fully adjustable. The PLC control system (expandable via USB stick) with data storage and the latest X2X interface can store virtually unlimited programs for bend angle, length, and twisting angle for up to 50 bend sequences per tube length.

A freely programmable database for up to 200 materials is available to monitor springback values. The control offers two operating modes: In "Simple Bending", the length and angle of the bends are automatically displayed relative to each other. In the "Controlled Bending" mode, the data is stored beforehand and a permanent target/actual comparison is conducted during the bending process.

Also available with pneumatic rotation stop or with gear-assisted length and twist positioning.
