THE COST-EFFICIENT MANDREL BENDING MACHINE FOR TIGHT BENDING RADII

This bending system offers solutions for pipe diameters ranging from 15 to 100 mm, enabling the processing of complex geometries with standard bending radii of 2xD. Depending on material quality and wall thickness ratios, radii as tight as 1.5xD can also be reliably achieved in series production. The 120 mm tool height provides ample scope for special profiles.

The highly precise and powerful electric drive of the bending axis, combined with the robust, rigid construction of both the mandrel holder and bending arm, ensures optimal bending results.

Quick-change bending tools allow for rapid conversion to different pipe sizes. The clamping pressure for the pipe holder can be optimally adjusted. The PLC control (expandable via USB stick) comes with data storage and the latest X2X interface and can store virtually unlimited programs for bending angles, length dimensions, and rotation angles for up to 50 bending sequences per pipe length.

An easily programmable database monitors springback values for up to 200 materials. The control has two operating modes: In 'Simple Bending', the length and twist of the arcs relative to each other are displayed automatically. In 'Controlled Bending' mode, the data is preloaded, and a continuous target/actual comparison is carried out during bending.

Also available with pneumatic rotary stop or with gear-assisted length and twist positioning.
