Saw Unit Guidance

High-performance sawing technology requires the use of backlash-free and low-maintenance guide systems.
Saw unit guided on two vertical square guide columns, one linear guide unit with play-free carriages and two preloaded, adjustable rollers on a guide rail, ensures high rigidity and cutting accuracy.
Higher metal removal rates, shorter cutting times, higher band life, and reliability are hallmarks of the new KASTOtec.

Saw Blade Guidance

Lateral guidance via hydraulically preloaded carbide slide guides with quick-lift device for fast blade change. Back guidance with oscillating-mounted carbide guides. Automatic adjustment of the movable blade guide to the material width being processed.

Material Quick-Lift Device

After the sawing operation in automatic cycle, the workpiece is retracted approx. 2 mm from the feed side by a material quick-lift device while still clamped (extends blade life).
