The NC assembly modules NCFH Type 2151B... feature a rugged housing that integrates a displacement sensor as an absolute encoder and a piezoelectric compression-tension force sensor. The pressure or tension forces acting on the sensor generate a proportional electric charge in the piezoelectric measuring element, which is then converted into an analog voltage signal by the integrated charge amplifier.

The drive motor is an electronically commutated AC servo hollow-shaft motor, controlled by a servo amplifier. Constant speed, i.e., constant feed rate, is ensured. Standard functions such as joining to stop, position-based joining, force-controlled joining, and intermediate positioning are supported.
