The NC joining modules NCFH type 2151B... consist of a robust housing which integrates a displacement sensor as an absolute encoder and a piezoelectric compression/tension force sensor. The forces acting on the sensor (compression or tension) generate a proportional electrical charge in the piezoelectric measuring element, which is converted by the integrated charge amplifier into an analog voltage signal.

The drive motor is an electronically commutated AC servo hollow-shaft motor, controlled via a servo amplifier. Constant rotational speed, i.e., consistent processing speed, is ensured. Standard functions such as block pressing, position and force-controlled joining, as well as moving to intermediate positions, are supported.
