Here, we present our newly built pre-treatment system VBH KM Pro, suitable for parts with dimensions up to 4,000x1,400x2,000 mm.

System Description:
Pre-treatment system for wet-chemical cleaning of workpieces prior to coating using a 3-zone process + loss-based nozzle manifold.

Equipment features:
- Washing bays for up to 2 carriers in one cleaning cycle
- 3 rails (1 central, 2 side washing bays)

- Wash ring with removable central nozzle manifold (Note: The central nozzle manifold is used when two rails with flat workpieces are to be cleaned simultaneously; without the central nozzle manifold, wider workpieces can be inserted and cleaned on the central guide rail.)
- 4 washing zones (Degreasing circulation, 1st rinse (pre-rinse) circulation, 2nd rinse (final rinse) deionized water cascade to degreasing tank 1)
- Final spray ring (Zone 4) for no-rinse passivation during withdrawal of the racks (Nebulization duration adjustable); passivation agent is injected in deionized water. Flow into tank 1.
- 2 stainless steel supply tanks including level monitoring (rinse 1 + deionized-water rinse)
- 1 stainless steel tank, insulated and electrically heated, including level monitoring (degreasing)
- Drain valves on the tanks for disposal, cleaning, and refreshing of solutions
- Supply of deionized water via mixed-bed cartridges
- Exhaust air fan for venting steam to the outside, including exhaust piping
- Cabin made of stainless steel
- Loading via double-leaf doors
- Operator terminal (PLC controlled) located outside the wash cabin
- PLC and touch display control, including remote maintenance module
- Intuitive, illustrated operation for quick and easy handling

Suitability:
- Particularly suitable for flat workpieces, as the central nozzle manifold allows for cleaning of 2 carriers simultaneously
- Frames and uncomplicated, open geometries up to max. 1,000 mm width can also be efficiently cleaned
