Advantages of the Kortho GraphicJet 18P

The compact printhead and separate ink tank, combined with a variable standard mounting bracket, allow installation in nearly any position along the production process—whether coding cartons from above or marking trays or paper sacks from the side.

Each printhead can produce a print image up to 18 x 500 mm fully customizable in format. A single print image can contain texts of up to eight lines, logos, time, date, barcodes, lot numbers, and shift codes in various formats. The printable character height is 1.5 mm to 18 mm per line. Text and graphics elements can appear either horizontally or vertically within one print image.

Automatic Numbering

Lot numbers, batch numbering, pallet numbering, and other variables in various formats. Multiple number codes per print image are possible.

Automatic Date Coding

Best-before date, manufacturing date, and other variables in various formats such as day of the year, day of the week, week of the year in Arabic format. Multiple date codes can be included in a single print image. A date can also be entered manually via the control unit.

Automatic Time Coding

The time is managed by the controller’s clock chip. Multiple time formats are available. Multiple time codes can be included in one print image.

Automatic Shift Codes

Up to 25 shift codes can be defined across a maximum of 7 days. Multiple shift codes can be included in a single print image.

Graphic Images

Logos can be imported as black-and-white bitmaps using the KIGS software. Multiple images per print image are possible (depending on format size).
