The SBM-L 1000 G1S2, which operates using a dry process, allows for alternating processing of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. It deburrs and rounds the edges on external and internal contours of stamped, laser-, fine plasma-, or waterjet-cut workpieces with a thickness of up to 50 mm on both sides in a single pass.

* Two grinding units, one each on the top and bottom sides, remove splatter and light burrs from the outer and inner edges of sheet metal.
* Four abrasive belts in total, two on the top and two on the bottom, process sheet metal simultaneously on both sides. All edges are either smoothed or rounded, depending on the tool settings.
* Double-sided processing eliminates time-consuming flipping and double handling of workpieces.
* Each pair of units can be switched on/off or adjusted independently according to application requirements.
* Includes Siemens S7 control system:
- Simple and convenient operation via an intuitive user interface
- High operational safety with 3 password-protected user levels
- Integrated program memory
- USB/RJ45 interface for data exchange or connection of external devices (e.g., barcode scanner)
- Direct material thickness input via touch panel
- All axes automatically adjust to preset material thickness
