The MPP NEM series briquetting presses are designed for the production of briquettes from homogeneous material. The length of a briquette depends on the model and ranges from 40 to 80 mm; the diameter, depending on the type, is 50, 65, or 70 mm. For emulsion recovery, the briquetting press can be equipped with a drip tray, allowing coolants, cutting, and lubricating fluids to be collected and recovered. Non-ferrous metal chips up to approximately 20 mm in length can be loaded into the press's storage hopper. A stirring unit at the bottom of the hopper prevents bridging and moves the material into the pre-compaction chamber. Within this chamber, a hydraulic slide pre-compacts the material and pushes it into the pressing block. The main pressing cylinder compresses the material against a vertical slide until the preset pressure is reached. The vertical cylinder then lifts, and the compact briquette is ejected. The more homogeneous the input material, the more uniform the briquette length.
