Product innovation: Sawing System Type "ORIX"

The sawing system enables fully automatic processing of a wide variety of aluminium profiles. The machine features a robust base frame. For the positioning of the saw unit, linear star guides and precision carriages are used. The drives are equipped with servo motors. For cutting, the saw unit travels 300 mm forward on the Y-axis, allowing effortless sectioning of special profiles, plates, as well as Item and Bosch profiles. The support table consists of movable rollers, which are automatically positioned according to the required cutting length. All rollers are mounted on precision linear carriages. Additionally, the saw is equipped with a sturdy collection table for depositing the cut aluminium pieces. (Optionally, the cut pieces can be transported directly via a conveyor belt, including swarf removal.) The machine is available with a cutting length of 6,000 mm, resulting in a total system length of 7,000 mm. Delivery includes a corresponding 2-channel minimum quantity lubrication system. In addition, the system is supplied with either a 400 mm or 600 mm saw blade.

Workflow:
Enter the profile length in the control system. The saw unit will then move to the specified length.
The operator loads the aluminium profile and activates the saw. The saw automatically locates the head-cut position using a sensor. The head cut is made. After cutting, the saw unit returns to its home position, and the saw automatically advances to the next input coordinate for repeat processing.

These operations are repeated until the entire profile has been cut.
All cut pieces are gently placed either on the collection table or on the conveyor belt.
Material clamping is performed directly on the saw unit by means of vertical and horizontal clamps, as is standard with aluminium saws.
Once the aluminium profile is fully processed, the saw unit automatically repositions to the next loading position. The cycle can be restarted as needed. Optional cross conveyors for automated feeding are available. For operator safety, fencing or a light curtain can be integrated. The control system is available in two versions: 1. Diethei control, 2. Siemens control. Optional material sorting by length or into different containers is possible.
