Furthermore, the machine features a touch probe for tool measurement and an external Renishaw probe for workpiece measurement. As a special feature, there is also a probe mounted on the Z-axis (Z1-axis). This provides advantages in accuracy and time as the tool does not need to be removed for measurement. Currently, this probe is deactivated and should be serviced upon recommissioning. Additionally, the machine has a Rotomors six-jaw compensating chuck with centrifugal force compensation, which was completely overhauled in 2020/21.
