All product-contact parts, such as the working surface and machine housing, are made from stainless steel (S/S). Changing the machine over to a different tray format takes about 5 minutes. MACHINE SECTIONS: Tray loading section: The loader is equipped with guides for the trays (which ensure filled trays are inserted in the correct position). After placing the tray in the mold, the operator activates the sealing lever. A position sensor ensures all successive operations occur only if trays are correctly positioned. After heat sealing, the operator returns the mold to the load position, removes the sealed tray, and loads the next tray for subsequent sealing operations. Film unwinding and rewinding unit: This unit automatically positions the required sealing film, unwinding it from the roll below the sealing and cutting station, and rewinds the surplus. An optional printer can mark the production/expiry date. As an option, a centering device can ensure accurate position of printed images on the metallized film sealing the tray. Sealing and cutting sector: Here, the film is cut and sealed onto the tray (cutting precisely to tray shape). Once the tray is positioned, the operator presses the START button to initiate the seal-cut cycle. Both the upper and lower molds are custom made to suit the user's selected tray and can be personalized. Sealing plate timing is electronically controlled, and each operation requires individual temperature programming.
