Function:

Scrap material is loaded into the feed area with the help of an excavator. Thanks to the horizontal loading area and the weight of the scrap itself, the material drops down into the charging chamber and the cutting zone. The scrap is compressed against the front wall and sheared by a horizontally moving tool-holder side as it presses the material through the knives on the end wall. As the tool carriage moves horizontally, the processed material is pushed through the knives at the container’s front wall. On the return stroke, scrap advances into the shear interior under its own weight.

Scrap shears are available in various configurations according to customer requirements, and the output size can be selected for new orders.

Inspection and test operation are possible.
