The Memmert ICHeco climate chamber ensures stability tests compliant with ICH and GMP requirements. Environmentally friendly and energy efficient: the ICHeco climate chamber for stability testing of pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or food products utilises eco-friendly CO₂ (R744) refrigerant. With this technology, Memmert sets a new, sustainable standard for compressor-cooled temperature chambers. The ICHeco model also features outstanding temperature and humidity uniformity. The air-jacket system around the hermetically sealed working chamber allows rapid and even heat distribution from all four sides. This design effectively prevents condenser frost build-up and sample desiccation.

Stability Testing in Climate Chamber According to ICH Q1B, Option 2 (Photostability)

The ICHeco L chamber can be fitted with a lighting module for tests compliant with ICH Q1B, Option 2 (photostability). The light source comprises cold white fluorescent lamps (daylight colour: 865, 6,500 K) and UV lamps in the 320–400 nm range. Both daylight and UV spectra conform to the D65 illumination standard.

Controlled CO₂ Supply in ICH Chamber

The compact ICH C climate chamber is ideal for testing building materials and concrete. Electronic CO₂ control with automatic zero-point calibration (NDIR system) and an adjustment range of 0–10% enable reliable long-term carbonisation depth tests in concrete without requiring large, energy- and cost-intensive test chambers.

Eco-Friendly CO₂ Refrigerant for Improved Cooling Performance

The ICHeco climate chamber delivers efficient and environmentally responsible cooling performance. Compared to R134a refrigerant systems, it provides faster cooling down times. Memmert ICH / ICH L / ICH C models with R134a refrigerant remain available in parallel.
