Complete MOTAN central installation for material drying and automatic vacuum conveying for plastics injection molding production.

The system consists of:

* 15 stainless steel drying hoppers
* Hopper capacity: 60 liters each

The system was used for processing engineering plastics and is suitable for hygroscopic materials such as:
PA, PC, PET, PBT, ABS, TPU as well as other engineering plastics.

Operating Principle

The plastic granulate is automatically transported into the drying hoppers via the central vacuum conveying system.

The MOTAN ADC 200/10 dry air generator produces dry hot air with low residual moisture, which continuously circulates through the material in the drying hopper.

During this process, moisture is removed from the plastic granulate and the material is prepared for injection molding production.

After the drying process, the material is automatically conveyed to the connected injection molding machines via the central material handling system.

All drying and conveying processes are centrally monitored and controlled by the MOTAN LA net 200 control unit.

Condition

The system was operational in production up to dismantling.
