The FG170 grinding and polishing machine for square tubes and flat profiles is distinguished by its robust construction, designed for intensive working conditions.

These machines process workpieces up to 170 mm wide by allowing the combination of multiple abrasive belt heads with brush units.

The FG170 Z is equipped with one abrasive belt head (Z).

The FG170 ZK combines an abrasive belt head (Z) with a brush unit (K).

Possible configurations include:
FG170 2Z = 2 abrasive belt heads, or
FG170 2ZK = 2 abrasive belt heads + 1 brush head. Other combinations are available upon customer request.

Abrasive belt head:
Performs surface reworking during the grinding process of square tubes and flat profiles—removes coarse imperfections and burrs.

Brush head:
Performs finishing after grinding—gives the surface a smooth and uniform finish.

The FG170 ensures high-quality and consistent results when processing stainless steel square tubes and flat profiles—tube by tube.

Abrasive belt change:
Abrasive belts can be changed within seconds without tools.

Fixed working height:
FG machines have a fixed working height. Adjustment for different material thicknesses is achieved via the vertical feed of the processing stations, without the need to adjust the feed roller table.
