Peletto EGK-60 Getreide-Extruder

The EGK-60 grain extruder has been designed to improve feed quality and produce high-grade feed to significantly enhance animal growth and increase milk production.

The extruder processes grain into a foamy mass in the form of small sticks or flakes. Anti-nutrients present in legumes are deactivated. Due to high temperatures, the feed is disinfected, killing harmful microflora, fungi, and pathogenic bacteria—especially important for young animals and chicks.

Additionally, under the combined effect of pressure and heat, starches that are otherwise difficult for the digestive tract to process are broken down into simpler carbohydrates and sugars. Vitamins and all other nutrients are preserved, since the temperature exposure is extremely brief and occurs in a fraction of a second. As a result, animals do not expend extra energy digesting feed, but instead utilize their energy for increasing body weight and milk yield. Feed digestibility for animals is up to 90%.

The finished product is ideal for transport and storage, as it does not dissolve or crumble.
