The rigid construction with an ultra-heavy steel base frame (approx. 4 tons) ensures high static rigidity, allowing for trouble-free machining of solid woods and various metals. The sophisticated positioning and distribution of the 35 mm linear guides and rails, combined with the massive portal’s vibration-damping characteristics, make our CNC milling machines stand out.

All machine components and servo drive units are the result of years of development and experience. The powerful servo motors are highly efficient and backlash-free, directly coupled to German-quality ball screws, offering a feedback-free drive to meet the highest demands.

The advanced, freely programmable CNC control system allows for flexible operation via touchscreen in any production environment and comes standard with our PFEIFER technology skycnc WK series milling machines. With this CNC control, you can generate your milling data or import CAD/CAM data for independent processing – even without a separate computer.

The tool changer (up to 16 tools), full aluminum vacuum table, various tool and workpiece cooling solutions, automatic lubrication on all axes, and other sophisticated features complete this milling system.
