The ProMinent CDLb 6 is a compact and powerful unit for generating and dosing chlorine dioxide, manufactured by ProMinent GmbH in Heidelberg, Germany. It is designed for safe and efficient disinfection and is used in a wide range of water treatment applications—especially in the food and beverage industry (e.g. dairies), in process water systems, and in cooling circuits.
The system operates using the acid-chlorite process in batch mode and produces a stable, buffered chlorine dioxide solution with high concentration accuracy. The reaction between sodium chlorite and hydrochloric acid takes place in a closed reaction chamber, ensuring no chlorine dioxide gas emissions and guaranteeing a high level of safety. The production capacity is 6 grams per hour, making the system ideal for applications with medium disinfection requirements.
