The Randek Cut-Out Saw JS400C is designed for making notches at the ends of timber elements, for example, to allow the insertion of a tie beam into upright studs.

The machine pneumatically secures the timber and performs two cuts using its two 400 mm diameter saw blades. The maximum notch length is 380 mm, and the cutting depth can be set up to a maximum of 115 mm. The saw is quick and easy to operate via foot pedal control.

Function Description
The timber to be notched, such as a stud, is pushed into the covered cutting slot up to the pre-set stop. The protruding end is supported on a roller stand (not included in the delivery). The timber is pneumatically clamped using the foot pedal, which also initiates the cutting cycle.

Safety
The saw is effectively shielded by a cover plate to prevent access to moving parts. When the cover is opened, the power supply is automatically interrupted, significantly reducing the risk of injury.
