Accessories / Special Features:

A modern CNC controller enables the input of all relevant gear parameters and workpiece setup in dialog with the control system. Programming language (German/English) selectable, and DNC interface for data import/export.
The machine operates using a continuous generating grinding process with automatic grinding cycles and in-machine automatic dressing of the grinding wheel.
Equipped with an integrated automatic device for threading the grinding wheel into the gear gap, resulting in significant time savings; device is hydraulically pivotable.

About 10 years ago, the profiling axis (V-axis) was retrofitted electronically by BURRI, providing higher accuracy, easier profile correction, faster dressing; currently fitted with a REISHAUER dressing device type SP-DR with a profile diamond disk.
The workpiece swivel angle (A-axis) is also actuated electronically, quickly and precisely, and hydraulically clamped; this allows for faster setups and simplified workpiece loading.
The shift grinding device guides the workpiece tangentially past the grinding wheel during grinding, ensuring a consistently uniform engagement of the grinding wheel profile.
