The machine has been completely overhauled, including: inspection of components and repair/replacement of parts (feed gearbox, carriage, tailstock, headstock); spindle grinding and replacement of spindle bearings; renewal of the slideways on bed and supports (cross and tool slide); renewal of lead screws and manufacture of new nuts; replacement of the electrical system; preparation for installation of digital scales in 3 axes; compliance with minimum health and safety requirements. In addition, new safety handles were used and new safety signs and pictograms were affixed.
