Scheugenpflug piston dosing systems use the principle of volumetric dosing, which means the dosed material volume is mechanically determined by the geometry and stroke of the corresponding cylinders. The cylinder is filled with potting compound by an appropriate material feed device. For two-component media, the volume of the two cylinders simultaneously determines the mixing ratio of resin and hardener. The dosing pistons press both components through separate channels simultaneously towards the outlet valve, where they mix into a homogeneous, reactive medium in the static mixing tube.

The piston dosing systems DOS P016 / 050 / 100 / 300 / TCA are highly precise volumetric dosing units designed for processing 1C and 2C materials, covering a broad range of application requirements. Precisely dimensioned dosing cylinders enable the delivery of repeatable material volumes.

For 2C materials, parallel discharge from both cylinders into the common mixing tube ensures a constant mixing ratio and highest process reliability. This process also allows for gentle delivery of pressure-, moisture-, or shear-sensitive potting media without material alteration. Users also benefit from easy, fast maintenance, long service life, and significantly reduced maintenance costs. Optional features like valve monitoring, mixing tube heating, or dosing head heating allow flexible adaptation to specific tasks.
