The WINDOR 60 is an integrated machining center for the flexible production of windows and doors. WINDOR 60 enables the following machining processes:
1.1 Cross-cutting with specification of finished workpiece length.
1.2 Tenoning with automatic workpiece rotation and manual feed (automatic on request) into the profiling unit.
There are 1, 2, or 3 tenoning units (optional) available, with a mounting length of 620 mm, with counter-bearing and "Jolly/L" anti-splintering device.
An option for automatic angled tenoning (max. +/- 60°) is also available on request.
1.3 Drilling (optional) Drilling can be performed on the end face and/or the longitudinal side of the workpieces.
Dowel holes, handle/olive holes, and cup hinge drilling are possible.
1.4 Profiling - right
Two profiling spindles with mounting lengths of 320 mm and 620 mm (optional) with counter-bearing are available, up to a maximum of 4 units in series. All right-hand guides (left-hand upon request) are controlled by CNC.
1.5 Profiling - left: For machining workpieces that also need to be profiled on the left side, the following is available:
Vertical auxiliary profiling spindle (optional) with a mounting length of 620 mm (not retractable). Up to 4 units in series possible.
1.6 Profiling underneath and/or on top (optional)
1.7 Machining for hardware grooves (optional), continuous or interrupted grooves possible.
1.8 Separation of the glazing bead is performed in the last position on the right side of the profiling unit.
The working unit is equipped with a riving knife and holding device. A guide (with ON/OFF control from CNC) ensures correct workpiece positioning.
1.9 Rebate milling of sash frames (optional) is performed in the profiling unit of the machine, with the stop rail on the right serving as the reference stop.
The left guide, with manual disengagement, adapts to the worktable and compensates for any width differences of the workpiece up to 20 mm. The time-controlled working unit at the infeed, with right/left rotation, serves as splinter protection.
2.0 Operator station and space requirements
On the WINDOR 60, the operator is positioned ergonomically in the middle of the system, offering an optimal overview of the entire machining process. The clamping fixture, open towards the operator, allows effortless loading of the workpieces. The space requirement of the WINDOR 60 is minimal: thanks to its special design, the tenoning machine can be placed against a wall or in corners, which allows for optimal use of workshop space. In the case of automatic infeed into the profiling unit (optional), the workpieces are discharged downstream from the tenoning machine, with the pieces traveling to the left side.
3.0 DESIGN FEATURES
3.1 Tenoning carriage

It is securely connected to the machine frame via prism guides on which it moves during operations; it is powered by recirculating ball screws, which ensure smooth running and precision with minimal maintenance.
