The VU500M is a state-of-the-art 5-axis portal milling machine, making its international debut at EMO before a professional audience. It combines maximum machining accuracy with high dynamic performance and is ideally suited for complex workpieces in tool and mold making, aerospace technology, as well as general mechanical engineering.

Equipped with the FANUC 0i-MF Plus control system (5 axes, up to 4 axes controllable simultaneously), the VU500M offers state-of-the-art CNC technology including iHMI, TCP (Tool Center Point Control), and intelligent spindle temperature compensation.

Thanks to the directly driven high-speed spindle and high-resolution FAGOR glass scale encoders on all axes, the machine achieves a positioning accuracy of 0.006 mm and repeatability of 0.004 mm.
