The KP 900 Automatic crosscut saw is an ideal solution for preparing material in pallet manufacturing and other wooden packaging product production. On average, this saw can process 27–30 m³ of pallet sections or approximately 20,000 pallet blocks per 8-hour shift, depending on the cross-sectional dimensions of the material. The saw can be operated by one or two workers, depending on the type of material being processed, which is loaded manually into the machine.

Main Cutting Modes
1. Manual Mode
Each cutting length is set by moving the material using buttons on the control panel or by setting the length on the digital control display. The cut is initiated by pressing a button on the display. This mode is suitable for individual, successive cuts.

2. Automatic Mode

a) You set a single cutting dimension for the entire length of input material. After activating the cut by foot pedal, the entire piece is automatically cut into the preset length. Once completed, the pusher returns to the set length of the input material. This mode is ideal for producing pallet blocks. The advantage is quick transitions between different values when input material sizes change frequently.

b) You set the desired combination of cutting lengths for the entire length of input material. After activating the cut with the foot pedal, the machine automatically cuts the material to these specified length combinations. Once finished, the pusher returns to the preset length for the next batch. Up to 10 programs with 10 lengths each can be stored in the machine’s memory. Programs are easy to overwrite, edit, insert, or delete. With this mode, you achieve high material efficiency—especially useful when producing sections for a wide range of packaging products.

The automatic mode allows for programmable front and rear trim cuts.

By default, the saw is configured for LEFT-handed operation, i.e. material flow is from right to left.

The automatic feeding system is included in the standard configuration. It consists of a pusher unit running on a precision linear rail with bearings. This design ensures long service life for the linear guide and extremely accurate positioning of the workpiece for cutting.

Integrated side and top clamps firmly secure the material during cutting, pressing it both to the work table and against the rear stop. This guarantees that every cut is precise, perpendicular, and eliminates unwanted material movement.

A clear LCD touchscreen display provides straightforward and convenient machine control. All control elements are highly visible, reduce operator fatigue, and provide a comprehensive overview. Maximum ergonomics and advanced software give the operator full control over the machine.

The infeed work table allows the operator to conveniently sort and prepare material before cutting, then feed it smoothly into the loading area, minimizing downtime and strenuous handling of the material. The table is inclined at 8° and equipped with a safety flap at the end to prevent material from being pushed beyond the operator’s reach.

The standard fixed outfeed table is two meters long and partially covered by the cutting area guard. Operators can safely remove the cut material without risk from off-cuts, chips, or the saw blade. The table is also inclined at 8°.
