The KP 900 EasyCut cross-cut saw is an ideal solution for companies processing solid wood that place maximum emphasis on the quality and yield of their production. It is designed for defect cutting and length optimization. On average, this saw can process up to 900 running meters per hour (with 4-meter-long material and 8 cuts per piece). The saw can be operated by one or two workers, depending on the specifications of the material being processed.
The KP 900 EasyCut optimizing saw is suitable for production facilities focused on cutting accuracy, minimizing waste of costly material, high processing speed, and workplace safety. The machine offers a high degree of flexibility for both input and output material dimensions. The saw features intuitive controls and dedicated software for easier programming and setting of cutting parameters. The KP 900 EasyCut also offers enhanced mechanization options at the outfeed.

Length Optimization
This function enables minimization of waste and maximization of output yield. The loaded material is optically scanned by the feeding unit and automatically divided according to preset length programs. The optimization system always prioritizes the longest possible assigned length that can fit into the loaded piece. The saw automatically measures the length of each piece, so there is no need to pre-sort material by size.

If defects are marked, the feeding unit will optically divide the material into separate pieces (from defect to defect) and these are then independently optimized for length. If a cut piece does not meet the minimum length specified in the program, it is classified as waste. The selected program allows for automatic front and rear trimming.
Quality Optimization – Waste Removal
With this function, the operator inspects the workpiece visually and, using special chalk, marks two perpendicular lines at the locations of defects to be cut out. As the feeding unit scans the chalk markings with its optical system, the required cut positions are recorded. The ensuing parts, of various lengths (from defect to defect), are automatically optimized lengthwise and software processed to the required lengths as specified in the cut program. If a piece does not meet the program’s minimum length requirement, it is classified as waste. The program allows for automatic front and rear trimming.
