The ZIS series single-shaft shredders are characterized by their spacious cutting chambers, which owe their strength to robust, welded steel construction. The rotor diameter is a generous 457 mm, with rotor widths available at 1200, 1500, and 2000 mm. The ZIS series retains all advantages of the ZSS series: oversized gearbox drive, reversible cutters, bolted knife holders, rugged external bearing assemblies, hydraulic screen basket, easy handling, and state-of-the-art control systems.

APPLICATIONS

The ZIS series was primarily developed for bulky hollow products such as IBCs, waste bins, pallets, rain barrels, and similar items. Additionally, the machine can be universally used across a wide range of applications in the plastics and wood industries. As with all Zerma shredders, the ZIS series machines can be equipped with various wear-resistant options.
