Digital printing system for carpet and textile printing

ChromoJet is a valve-based jet print technology developed by ZIMMER in 1976, which has since established itself in carpet printing and the printing of heavy textiles.

The digital printing systems of the ChromoJet family are suitable for all kinds of pile products in the range of 300 to 1,500 g/sqm.

ChromoJet operates with high-speed valves. The pre-mixed, pressurized special or process inks are injected deep into the surface of the pile with surgical precision, without any machine parts touching the fabric. The result is maximum color penetration and outstanding print resolution.

Dye classes:
- Acid and pre-metalized – for printing on polyamide (nylon) and wool
- Disperse – for printing on polyester-based carpets
- Cationic – for printing on modified (cationic) polyester and acrylic fibers
