The ZIGZAG-type air separator is a device designed for cleaning materials in the waste recycling process. The separator separates light and heavy fractions using a pneumatic method. It is suitable for a wide range of waste materials sized 0-150 mm. This type of air separator is used for pre-shredded, torn, or very fine materials. Thanks to our unique design, the separator offers multi-point adjustment to ensure optimum purity of the separated fractions.

ZIGZAG separators are used in various fields, including:
- Weight-based classification of metal granulates
- Cleaning shredded scrap from light fractions (foils, plastics, paper)
- Removal of volatile fractions during WEEE recycling
- Cleaning of plastics and rubber
- Cleaning of municipal waste and glass
- Dust removal

Construction Description:
The ZIGZAG separator consists of individual components mounted on a shared support frame. The first section features the ZIGZAG module, equipped with an inspection opening and adjustable flow gap for material throughput. The second section houses a cyclone designed for discharging the light fraction. Beneath the cyclone, a variable speed rotary valve ejects the separated materials. The fan with electronic speed control is located at the top of the assembly. The construction is partially adapted for loading and unloading via belt conveyors. The separator is equipped with a control cabinet featuring a comprehensive safety system.
