The semi-automatic, hydraulic saws of the X-tech line offer best-in-class sawing technology and outstanding performance when cutting special steels.
- The electrically-welded machine frame and the steel saw frame meet all cutting requirements, eliminating vibrations and noise.
- The chip conveyor is hydraulically driven and has adjustable speed.
- All machine movements (saw frame, vice, feed, and saw band guides) occur via modern linear guides with high static and dynamic load capacities, ensuring minimal sliding friction.
- Another characteristic feature are the rollers for material positioning, powered by a hydraulic motor. These move perpendicular to the material to ensure optimal clamping.
- Thanks to adjustable saw band height control, the operator can position the band close to the material’s top edge. After the cut, the band automatically returns to its previous position, or, optionally, can remain in the lower position. During the cutting cycle, the software compares the cutting load to the preset values, allowing the saw system to halt automatically in case of irregularities.
- The saw band is cleaned by two adjustable steel brushes with hydraulic drive.
- The hydraulic unit, including filter and pressure gauge, ensures exceptionally smooth operation at constant pressure.
- Finely ground carbide inserts securely clamp the saw band and are complete with lateral, hardened, and adjustable guide rollers. The adjustable blade guide travels automatically as close as possible to the material.
- The saw band is tensioned by a hydraulic cylinder, managed by the machine software. Tension is automatically released after a preset time when the machine is idle or following a completed cycle.
- Automatic version with CNC control available in X-TECH 900 / 1200 models, featuring a 500 mm feed stroke, ideal for high-production series.
- The material is supported by a table with seven rollers, powered by a hydraulic orbital motor, enabling precise material positioning even at maximum load.
- All guided movements are driven by four recirculating ball guides with high static and dynamic load capacities, significantly reducing feed friction. The guides are hardened, ground, and prismatic.
