The CORMAK MCB350HD Bandsaw is the largest machine in its segment, offering impressive cutting capacities of 350x260 mm. It is equipped with a more powerful motor and a user-friendly control panel. The machine arm is made from a single-piece cast iron with additional ribbing for enhanced rigidity. Bi-directional miter cutting is possible within a range from -45° to 60°.

Machine Features

The CORMAK MCB350HD metal bandsaw (CE certified) enables cutting perpendicular to the axis of the material or at any angle between -45 and +60 degrees. The workpiece can be fed manually or via any feed device. Feed during cutting occurs gravimetrically, utilizing oil flow in a dual-chamber hydraulic cylinder. The operator starts the machine by pressing the start button and sets the cutting speed. On completion, the machine stops automatically and the operator manually returns the arm to the starting position.

The vice is mounted on an adjustable bed and is fitted with a quick-clamp. Blade guides are equipped with carbide plates and roller bearing systems. These CARBIDE BLADE GUIDES are responsible for the high precision and linearity of cut.

The arm features an automatic blade tension sensor and is tilted 25 degrees to increase blade service life. A cleaning brush is mounted on the underside for optimal blade cleanliness and function. Drive transmission is via a worm gearbox filled with gear oil. The machine is equipped with a three-phase, two-winding motor and two cutting speeds.

The saw features thermal motor protection. It boasts an extensive mitering range from 45º left to 60º right. The machine has two blade speeds: 32 and 72 m/min. Equipped with automatic, infinitely adjustable, gravity-fed downfeed. Construction: the arm, vice, and rotary table are cast iron. Closed emulsion cooling system delivers coolant directly to the blade guides. The machine includes a material stop and measuring rail for setting cut lengths.

A material feed roller is mounted at the rear. Cutting safety is ensured by an electrical system that meets all CE requirements. The machine features a limit switch that stops it after the cut, an emergency stop button (“mushroom”), and several micro-switches that disconnect the machine if, for example, the belt guard or blade cover is opened.
