Deskripsi
The PDFD line consists of two primary components: the DFC 60 tenoning and profiling machine (where the ends of the slats are machined) and the PHSL longitudinal finger-jointing press, which joins elements into slats up to 6.6 meters in length with the option to program up to eight intermediate cuts, dividing the slat into sections of operator-defined length. Between these main machines, there are transport units that also perform initial tenoning. The presented line configuration allows for a productivity rate of approximately 8,500 to 10,500 linear meters per shift. The machine has undergone a complete overhaul and comes with a one-year warranty.
A microprocessor-based control system enables flexible adjustment of work parameters to suit user requirements. The machine can process both ‘calzing’-type elements and components for the production of edge-glued panels (‘line-jointed’). The implementation of a receiving table with automatic feeding of slats onto the PHSL press infeed conveyor allows for operation of the line by a single operator handling material input. The receiving table is equipped with a buffer shield, which increases efficiency and smooth workflow. The line operates in an automatic cycle with manual material feeding. The line’s components can be assembled in various configurations (to be agreed with the buyer), allowing the machine to be adapted to user’s facility layout.
Technical Specifications:
- Maximum input package width (tenoning and profiling machine): 650 mm
- Width of glued elements: 30 – 155 mm
- Length of glued elements: 170 – 900 mm
- Thickness of glued elements: 20 – 70 mm
- Operating air pressure: 0.6 MPa
- Compressed air requirement: approx. 25 m³/h
- Operating efficiency: up to 4 cycles/min (6,600 mm slat)
- Length of glued element: 4,500 – 6,600 mm
- Operating voltage: 3/N/PE 400 V 50 Hz
- Control voltage: 24 V DC
- Power requirement: max 100 kW
Operating process:
Wooden slats are placed by the operator onto the cart of the first tenoning and profiling machine. Feeding the pieces initiates the machining cycle. The first machine evens up the ends of the package and then cuts the finger-joint pattern. The package then moves to the table of the second machine, where the opposite side is machined and glue is applied.
Elements from the DFC-60 D tenoner are transported via a chain conveyor to the preliminary tenoning unit, where a set of rollers and a pressure device apply initial pressure to the finger-joint profile on the scantlings prior to entering the press.
The pre-tenoned scantlings are conveyed onto the press table; once the target length is achieved, they are cut. Then, using a pusher bar and clamping strip, they are transferred into the press bed area for pressing. The glued and pressed, finished slat is pushed onto the press's outfeed table.

While the scantlings are moved to the press bed, the process of feeding elements onto the press table is carried out simultaneously, maintaining continuous press operation for higher gluing productivity.
